The invention of new catalytic approaches for the site-selective modification of molecules is of high interest across the chemical, pharmaceutical and materials sectors. Herein, we propose to invent a new strategy to unveil previously elusive transformations using supramolecular vessels. In particular, the project ambitions to discover novel site-selective C–H and C–C bond functionalizations in simple and complex molecules that are not possible to achieve by current approaches.
