Breu explicació del projecte / Brief explanation of your project
VERSA “Video games for skills training” is an EU H2020 project that arises from the cooperation among 3 AURORA partner universities: Universitat Rovira i Virgili (Spain), University of Innsbruck (Austria) and VU Amsterdam (Netherlands), and the Spanish GECON Foundation.
Our ultimate goal is to test a methodology that uses commercial video games as an effective and reliable training method for developing soft skills in high level education. Our aim, therefore, is to increase scientific knowledge regarding the use of video games in academic contexts and to have a socio-economic impact that will improve the employability of our doctoral students by helping them to develop the soft skills that companies have in such high demand nowadays.
